With an amateur and cheap website, for a high quality flooring brand, we knew that they needed a spruce up. They had high end and mid-range flooring but were attracting customers who were expecting the lower-end, meaning timewasters for their company.

After a discussion with Carina, we decided that the design of the website would help to ensure the customers that called were those who were expecting the sort of flooring the company were offering, helping them make the most of their time, and boost conversions.

We also found out that the website wasn’t optimised for Google rankings, and the only way to find them was either direct through their web address, or thanks to the £60 a month advertising they were using with Yell, which only showed up when you typed in their brand name, and not when you typed keywords around their business.

We also discussed that the client didn’t want to have to login to update the website themselves, so a self-updating website was essential. We decided to sync their Facebook Business page live feed onto their website, and we also synced the “work examples” website page with a Facebook album dedicated to showcasing the images from recent jobs. This meant that these images would automatically appear on their website, saving them time and hassle.

We also added a Customer Testimonials section, where clients can easily share their thoughts, helping to boost their Google ranking and showcase their great customer service, attracting more of their ideal customers.

The Result?

The website has now been fully redesigned, with their own photos of their high-end flooring, with a design to match. It is completely optimised for Google keywords which will attract the right clients to their website, such as laminate flooring, carpets etc in their local area. They were also able to cancel their Yell £60 per month advert (saving them £720 per year).

The best part? They are now being found by more people, in more locations, for more keywords, and have seen a spike in their website traffic.
